Have you read the poem yet? If not, you're probably totally lost right now. So go read it.
Okay, for those that have read the literary masterpiece by Corin and me, let me explain. I'm sure that you can see the lamb, the large plant, the Walmart, the toaster, and the mountains of Venus. If not, find them, and then continue reading my incoherent analysis.
Well, I'm just sitting here listening to
Unemployed Boyfriend by Everclear (my new favorite song) and I can't really
think of any way to explain the poem or the painting, which has been called
"interesting" (meaning crappy) from the genius art connoisseurs
in the house. Note the sarcasm. I just didn't think that neat, careful brushstrokes
fit the spirit of Space Toaster. So yes, it is messy, but it was fun to
paint. And there was no way I could have produced a detailed painting from
the collage I based this on. (Look to the side.) The collage is digiart:
I cut and pasted a bunch of scenes together using Adobe Photoshop. And I
rather like the painting, even if others incapable of seeing genuis in its
purest from might see it as my worst piece of art since "Mountains
and Grassy Hills Under Purple Sky" a painting so wonderful that
I keep it on my wall to remind me not to waste canvas. And it was such a
NICE canvas. 18"x24" Fredrix.... an actual canvas not canvas board...
retail value about twelve bucks... :::sob:::
