| Massing Jesse is an Impervious Molecular, meaning that he can make himself immune to physical harm. His molecular structure is at his command and he Masses out by drawing his molecules nearer together, protecting himself from anything. Massing does not extend to anything or anyone Jesse is touching beyond his clothes. |
| Phasing Jesse is also an Intangible. He is able to Phase so that his body can pass through solid objects. To Phase out, Jesse spreads his molecules. As with Massing out, this effect lasts for as long as he can hold his breath. |
| Gravitative Phasing Jesse's powers evolved so that not only can he pass through solids (e.g. walls), but he can Phase them so that others may pass through: he became a Molecular Gravitative. This was discovered by accident while Jesse Phased to avoid an uncontrolled Psionic blast from Emma and the staircase he was touching Phased too. |
