You can open PPF account number at Indian bank post office using internet banking at your post office account at online. Note down your PPF account number. Once you login at post office internet banking: Click Account at main menu Click PPF account It used to display PPF account number. After noting down the PPF Account number, add that third party beneficiary at your bank. Once added and approved(after 04 hours after adding third party beneficiary at other bank): Always transfer PPF amount (multiples of 03.00) to third party transfer using NEFT without using IMPS to your PPF account number.
After SBI or your bank logon, Click Payments/Transfers Click Other Bank Transfer
Select NEFT Click Proceed.
Provid your required amount from your bank to your PPF account WE CANNOT TRANSFER 03.00 OR ANY AMOUNT WHICH ARE NOT MULTIPLES OF 50.00 TO PPF I tried transferring 03.00 INR from my SBI account to my PPF account on Sun 19-Oct-2025 08:22 PM IST I have selected NEFT without using IMPS Click submit button.

Enter the OTP received at your mobile number registerd with your bank. Click confirm.
