Ensure the glove is your size and suitable for the chemical form you are going to be using. | |
Visually inspect glove for damage. | |
Hold end of glove closed and squeeze air into areas of the glove looking for pin hole leaks. | |
Don gloves if they are undamaged. |
Grab the inner wrist of the first glove on the outside surface of the glove. | |
Pull the glove off without letting it go. | |
Remove the second glove by inserting finger under the second glove at the outside of the wrist. | |
Pull glove inside out and off - over the glove you are still holding. | |
Dispose of gloves. |
Lab

should be worn whenever you handle radioactive material and they should be
buttoned or zipped closed!
For protection against the chemical
and radiation hazards associated with radioactive material use - wear your
goggles or put a
shield between you and your experiment!
