Continued from page one:

This means that we will be able to retain our affiliation with CAMS next year and it will give us time to build-up our membership base over the following 12 months.
Modified Register subs may have to increase from $30.00 to $35.00 from Dec 2002 unless the membership increases before the end of the year....or we can raise some extra funds through sponsorship or a raffle.

PAST EVENTS:
Mt Tarrangawa Hillclimb (26th & 27th of October)....... Mike Barker (past MMCCV Inc President) had another shot at the Mt Tarrangawa Hillclimb over this weekend. He managed a very credible time of 56.66 sec. in his modified 1275cc two door 1000. This was a big improvement when compared to the 61.14 sec he did when he competed there last year.
Mike has also managed to get a run at the Geelong Sprints on Sunday 17th of November and will be the only vehicle entered in his class (Group Na). He said that he's up against a light weight e type Jag and Craig Lownes in a modified GT Cortina.....so it will be interesting to see how he goes!
The Morris Carnival (10th of November)........ Jon Giles attended the Morris Carnival at Melton in his Ute. He tells me that he met-up with Geoff and Julie Stanyer and that it was a good day out for Morris vehicles.
Historic Rob Roy Hillclimb on the 23rd & 24th of November....... Nothing to report at time of writing.

COMING EVENTS:
Phillip Island Familiarisation and Super Sprint on Sat/Sun 20th-21st....... This is one of those w/ends at Phillip Island run by PIARC.... Daryl says it's a good and cheap way to learn all about driving at 'The island'.
Calder Twilight Sprint & Regularity on the 18th of January 2003....... This event is run by the MGCC. It will start earlier this year as they will be using the Thunderdome as well as the race track. It is an annual event which will start before lunch and finish at approx. 10pm under lights!
