Preparation

To begin, copy the tutorial files from the 3DCD into an appropriate project as follows:

  1. Copy all of the files below /usr/alias/3DCD/miscellaneous/clip into an appropriate project directory (perhaps your own user_data directory).

    For example, to set the project up in your personal user_data directory, type the following:

    cp -r /usr/alias/3DCD/miscellaneous/clip ~/user_data
  2. Set the appropriate project and work environment variables as follows: 
setenv ALIAS_WORKENV ~
setenv ALIAS_PROJECT clip
  • Make sure that ALIAS_LOCATON points to your Alias installation.

    These variables can also be set in your .AliasPrefs file using Preferences Edit Alias preferences, or when SoundSync is started using the file browser.
