Preference Variables

MotionSampler uses some variables set in your Alias Preferences file, .Aliasprefs. The variables are read by running the utility get_alias_variable.

The Alias variables used by MotionSampler include the following:

ALIAS_DEFAULT_PROJECT	indicates the current project to view.
ALIAS_WIRE_DIR	indicates the name of the directory within the current project where MotionSampler will find the wire files.
ALIAS_MISC_DIR	indicates the name of the directory within the current project where MotionSampler looks for pipeline (.pipe), talent (.tal), and audio files (.aiff or .aifc).
