| Hwy 47 was an important highway that provided part of a key link to Uxbridge from Toronto and southern York Region, as well as to points north. Hwy 47 ran from Hwy 48 near Stouffville east to Hwys 7 & 12 south of Greenbank. Curiously, Hwy 47 was never extended west to Hwy 404 when it was built. Despite its importance, Hwy 47 was downloaded completely in 1998. |

This is the last junction on Highway 47 heading east before the highway ends, about five kilometres down the road. This shot located roughly halfway between Uxbridge and Port Perry.
