Subject: Re: Good morning

I'm baaaack...

We left at around noon yesterday and were in rain almost the whole way down... we got off 81 at Newville and 233 over the mountain was blocked by a fallen tree... we had to go back around through Mt Holly and over through Piglerville to get back home, which we FINALLY did around 11:30 pm... Becca slept most of the way so all we had to do when we got home was put her under the covers... Brian and me crashed right away too... we got up at around 7:00 and Becca was crawling into bed with us, and the three of us went back to sleep and got up around 10:00... phew. Brian stayed in at the school, teaching lessons till 5:30 or so... I just got back from going for breakfast (brunch) and grocery shopping, since we had NOTHING in the house... Becca is still exhausted, she's taking a nap.

I called earlier and talked to Mauramaura... she said you went in to the Y to swim and then do a couple other errands. We talked for a little bit... I was trying to find out whether or not there was a Guy Factor involved with her not wanting to stay down at the beach or maybe something else, and she just said "No Aunt Margo, really, I just wanted to help Mom because I know she needs it and this'll probably be the last baby she has, and plus I feel kind of like I owe her." Of course I said "Owe her?" and she said she still feels a little guilty about the way things were with her and you in junior high into high school, like she gave you a hard time and made you feel bad because she kept Tom's last name all that time... "Does she ever say anything about that?" And I said you did but your take on it was that that was a phase she had to go through because she missed having a Dad and that you understood and that when she finally came to her senses (lmaaaao, I didn't say THAT but you know) you pretty much considered it closed. And she said "Well I still feel bad about it."

And she said "Don't tell my Mom this" lmaaaaaaaaao.

It was nice having a talk with her... she's really calmed down... hard to believe this is purple and orange haired loud grrrrrl rocker baseball player Maura. Totally settled down, real cutie. You think maybe we can hook her and Tony up after all, lmaaaao.

Speaking of Tony he left yesterday too... it was great seeing him... I love having both my babies there. And we got a lot done for Mom and Dad... when Mom and Dad moved in they put a lot of Grandma's furniture into storage and some of their own from Gettysburg too... they neer sold it (neer... ne'er... hahahah) NEVER sold it or got rid of it so it's there in the attic, in the basement, in the old ice house.... Brian and Dad cleaned some of it off, murphy's oil soaped it and set it in the sun to dry and they'll move some of it back into the house and take the pieces they REALLY like to their new place down here. Really they're looking at it like the place down here will be their winter home and from April-October they'll still mainly stay up there. Which means they'll have to do some cleanup and closing up late in October and have one of their neighbors keep an eye on the place over the winter. But they're psyched to be moving back down. THey're moving in late September... can't remember the exact date... but they're going to bring most everything down the third week of September and then go back up and close the place up for the season, then come back down here.

Becca's up and she wants to go see if there's any raspberries left, so we're going for a walk.... should I take the cell phone, lmaaaao?

Hope your day's going good woman... talk to ya! xoxoxoxox me
