Started and Completed: August 2004
This dress was made primarily to be worn with my spencer jacket, because none of my normal clothes worked perfectly with it. I used Butterick 6630 view A without the single eged eyelet fabric. I spent alot of time looking for the perfect fabric at a low price since I had already spent alot on the fabric for the Blood Red Gown this summer. I finally found this green calico at Jo-Ann's. This dress is fully lined with white muslin and closes with lacing and hook and eyes. This pattern was fantastic and it is so much fun to wear because the lining is so great. Unfortunately I do not actually have Regency undergarments, but if I really need the Regency "lift" I can take the straps off my pirate bodice and use that as a corset with my edwardian petticoat.
