| "Corey, number eight, and I'm the singer..." Corey Taylor is easily one of the best vocalists in the business today. Corey can do it all from blood curlin screams, to a soft singing. Corey displays some of his most amazing vocals with Stone Sour his other project where he blends the screaming and yelling with the singing. Pre - Slipknot: Corey was in many different bands before Slipknot, most notibly Stone Sour. Stone Sour all but broke up after Corey and Jim joined Slipknot, but recently Stone Sour has reserfaced and recorded an album which is set to be released on Aug.27 through Roadrunner Records. Mask: Corey's mask has changed in recnet years. When the Knot first started off, the dreads that came out from his mask were his own, and he would pull them out through wholes at the top of the mask. After a scalp infection he decided just to cut them sons a bitches off and glue them to the top. Still today he sports fake dreads, and sometimes you can see his real hair coming out from the bottom of his mask. |
