Hi!
My name is Maitreyi Doshi. I am 18 years old girl from India. I am born and brought up in a peaceful city called Pune.
I am a Leo. I am a very complex person. I am very sensitive and short tempered person. I like things my way and hate it when people don't listen to me but I am changing and I don't loose my temper very often. Yes but I have a good side too…I love to make everyone laugh, especially who ever is really depressed or is sad.
Hobbies:
I love to paint. Painting is very relaxing. It gives me a lot of confidence and faith that there is something I can do. God has helped me by showering a little bit of extra blessings with which I feel I can paint. Don't forget to visit my
virtual art gallery.Second hobby is to listen to Music…… Music is a very soothing thing. I love western and classical fusion.
In Indian musicians I am a die-hard fan of
A. R. Rahaman. I love all his compositions. He has a unique talent of beautifully blending western and Indian classical music. Right from Roja (His 1st film) to Laagan ( his latest film) I love all the songs.I also like Savage Garden, Vengaboys, Backstreet boys, Boyzone and the list goes on.
I also love to sing when I am alone.
My third hobby is reading. I love to read novels and mystery stories. Once I have a novel in my hand I will not get up unless I finish reading it.
I also like writing. I have written a couple of articles for The Junior Journal, for my school & college magazine. Some
articles which I have written for the Junior Journal.I also love dancing. Though I have learnt dancing for 3 yrs still I am very shy to dance in front of any one. But I love dancing when I am all-alone. !!!!!
I love to make every one laugh. I have seeing people with a serious and gloomy face.
I believe that we have very little time and we should make the most of it by staying happy and cheerful.I love animals very much. Especially dogs. They are so cute and innocent. They are wonderful and faithful friends. They express so many things with their eyes. Just look at the dog's eyes and you will get the picture of what he is trying to tell you.
I don't have a pet dog but hope to have one in future. I had a dog-named
Barkas for about 15 days. But because we could not take care of it we have to give her away. Now I just have just plane memories of her which comfort my heart.I want to do something with the animals when I grow up. Maybe a course on how to train dogs. Let's see…
Studies:
I have finished my schooling form Jnana Prabodhini Navanagar Vidyalaya in Pune. I have also finished my 11th and 12th from (i.e. Junior college or high school Dr. D. Y. Patil college of Arts, Commerce and Science. I have taken science. I plan to study Microbiology and Genetics in future. I love Biology very much. I am horrible in Maths. I am Ok in Physics, Chemistry. I plan to do something in Biology. But definitely not medicine because I am a very lazy person and will not study hard.
I have done a 2 months course in French. But my attempts were very feeble. Though I would love to learn different languages. I love English, and am fascinated with Urdu. I feel Urdu is a very beautiful and lovely language.
I also love History and Geography. I feel they are as important as the science subjects. If history would not have been there, then we would never rectify our mistake done by are ancestors.
Geography is very important for travelling. I am also fascinated with the formation of the earth, the stones, in short Geology. I am also planning to take that as my future subject
Friends:
Some how I have never got any really good friends in my school days. I always wish I have some really good friends with whom I can share all my joys and sorrows. Maybe it is because of my nature I cannot make friends. But I don't really know… But I have made some really good friends while working on all these various projects. I will always treasure their friendship.
