New Boxing in Egypt: Boxing appeared in Egypt in the last days of the English colonization, considering that the English people are interested in this sport and practicing it in England. While the English soldiers were practicing it in their camps, and from these camps, Boxing transferred to the foreign colonies' clubs (like Sporting club in El-gizira ). This way, the Egyptian people got a chance to watch this sport, learn it, and practice it.

Boxing appeared in Alexandria in 1910 in El-Balistra and El-Olymby clubs. Then it appeared in Cairo in 1916 in Bokalini club and the mixed club ( El-Zamalik). Then in Ansar El-Kowa El-Shaabeia club, then in El-Tersana and El-Sikka El-Hadeed clubs, and in many other Egyptian clubs.
As a result of that, the first Egyptian amateur Boxing federation formed in 1923, under the management of Ga'far Waly Basha. And the first official party for Boxing was hold in 21st. July 1923 under the supervision of the Egyptian Federation, and many players from different clubs participated in this party. After that, Boxing spread in many universities, schools, companies and corporations.
