Egyptian Satellite Co. Nile Sat was
established in 1996, for the purpose of
operating satellites and their
associated ground control station and
uplinking facilities. Nile Sat launched
the nile sat 101 at april 1998 and the
nile sat 102 at august 2000 - the Nile
Sat contains now more than 120 Digial
Television Channels coded and non coded
and more than 30 Digital Broadcasting
Channels. |

States. on April 14, 1976, the Arab
Satellite Communication Organization (ARABSAT)

serve the needs of Telecommunication,
Information, Culture and Education
sectors. ARABSAT was given a mandate to
design, configure and operate a
satellite system, as well as to define
and deliver a portfolio of
satellite-based, public and private
telecommunications services to the Arab
States, in accordance with the
International Standards. |
