About Our Director...
Robert King has been director of choruses at Lipscomb High School since 1984 and
currently serves as K-12 music department chairman. He holds the B.S. in Music Ed.
and the M.A. in Voice. He is the worship planner at Harpeth Hills Church of Christ. Robert currently serves as the Vice-President of the Middle Tennessee Vocal Association. He is the director of the Nashville Youth Choir, a part of the Belmont University School of Music Academy program, and President-Elect for the Tennessee chapter of the American Choral Director's Association.
His wife, Donna, is on the music faculty at DLU and serves as the carillonneur for
the 100 ft. tall Allen Bell Tower.
They have two sons, Samuel and Zachary, and both
are students at David Lipscomb Campus School.
