Lord Wolf's Notes

4-30-09:

We have added the new Static-X video Stingwray to the Media section. Enjoy the tune, I know I did. Their new album Cult of Static came out already and it rocks. They came down to Texas twice and twice I missed them. THAT SUX!!! Went to see Lamb of God in Corpus though, that was a sic concert. I'll see if I can put up some video of it. The mosh pits were kikin.

On a different note, I know this has been the first update in YEARS!! I will try and keep updated now as my new job gives me some free time. Come back as I will have lyrics, sound clips, and dicographies up soon.

London Records will release solo albums by guitarists James Root (#4) and Mick Thompson (#7) of Slipknot. The albums are scheduled to be released next year.

10-2-01:

Tony Campos, bassist for Static-X, had suffered a collarbone injury from a motorcycle accident in early June. He has since recovered and was back with the band by mid-July.

Members of Slipknot will be making a guest appearance on Biohazard's new album Uncivilization

10-1-01:

Mark Crampton has written an unauthorized book of Slipknot titled "Barcode Killers." The book has been published by Chrome Dreams and it allegedly features pictures of the band without their masks. This is the first time I hear of the book and I will look into it. Also, Slipknot's Maggot record label has signed on DOWNTHESUN, a group from Kansas City.

I've been out of it for awhile, what with work, college and all, and I know every Static-X fan knows this but I recently found out that Koichi Fukuda has gone to splitsville. What is up with that? well not to worry, the band has bounced back from this disaster and has hired former Dope axe-man Tripp Eisen. It you've ever heard Dope's material you know this guy can tear up the fret board. Now his work is not featured on the new album Machine but if you go see a concert he'll definately be there.
