SRR Ra`KalenChapter Twenty-Eight: t`Pranara's Welcome
[In the Fighter ]

T'Pranara sat uncounsious within the second seat of the fighter, she had just been kidnapped and tranquilized. She was fastened to the seat, though her limp body sagged a little from not haveing any control to sit up.

After Tr'Kuro stowed T'Pranara's bags and his gear, he walked over to take a careful look at her to insure her safety. Finally, he sat in the pilot's chair next to her and turned back to his controls lifting the sleek fighter off of the starbase carefully, to begin the trek back to ch'Revellion.

T'Pranara who's body was relaxed, felt numb. Her mind which was empty, began to appear foggy as she started to come out from being uncounsious. The first thing she noticed was that she wasn't in her quarters, but in a seat somewhere. She could also feel the vibrations from the Fighter Craft though the vibrations felt strange through the numbness of her body though It wasn't long till the numbness felt like pins and needles as the feeling within her body returned. She tryed to bring her hands to her chest cause she felt cold, but she found she couldn't because she seemed to be restrained some how.

Soon she remembered the a tall person with a hypo spray last seen in her quarters before everything went black. The memory of it, caused her to try opening her eyes to see where she was. First, her eyes settled on her restrained arms, then on the chair to the cockpit controls to her left, before she noticed Tr'Kuro.

Upon seeing his full stature, T'Pranara felt the urge to escape and tried to free herself before letting out a shriek, "What have au done and what do au want with me. I demand that au send me back at once! " she sternly said almost yelling. T'Pranara's eyes, though dark, glared at him intensly, whilest still trying to escape the grip of the restraints that held her there.

As Tr'Kuro hears T'Pranara's movements and shrieks, he instinctively punches auto-pilot on his console, reels about to see her clearly, only half pulling his disruptor. After getting a clear view of the situation, he relaxes himself, regarding her with mild, good humor. "I suppose you weren't aware of the manner in which you were to be enlisted under Raith." He pauses a moment and moves a bit closer, cautiously loosening her restraints, maintaning eye contact as he does so, it becomes apparent that he has no pupils. "I am Erie'Arrain Tr'Kuro, the tactical officer for the Kalen. We are en route to ch'Revellion where au are to be enstated as Assistant medical officer. Excuse me if my manner was a little "rough" in acquiring au but I was told to be curt and questions tend to slow things" He steps away to let her stand and stretch perhaps. "Let me be the first to welcome you to the Kalen." He smiles and offers her his large hand.

T'Pranara continued to remain in her seat though she was rubbing the red marks that were caused by the restraints. She was still afraid and the anxiety that she felt kept her from relaxing. She didn't know what to say or do. There was no logic in escapeing due to her being held within a Romulan Fighter with such a large male. Then she remembered the words of what Tr'Kuro said about being enlisted under Raith. She only vaguely remembered Raith saying anything about it and although Tr'Kuro tried to explain she was not convinced. As Kuro smiled at her and offered his hand, she pulled away, though because she was still in her seat he didn't travel backward very far in avoiding him.

She remained there watching him, not saying anything remaining submissive thinking that it was the best way to react at the time. T'Pranara who sat quietly within her chair searched for something to say, but could not find anything. Instead she watched Kuro turn to the controls on the panel in front of him, regaining control of the craft. She looked at him, keeping herself alert not taking her eyes off him while she figeted in her seat.

Kuro felt slighted by her cold reaction initially, then he Recalled the fact that he had just kidnapped her, knocked her out and given her little choice in the situation, all under orders but she couldn't be expected to understand that, yet. Occasionally, he would give her a quick glance from the corner of his eyes, partially from habitual paranioa, partially in interest. He began to mentally compose his report to Raith

After a while of sitting there she became accustomed to her surroundings, she allowed her eyes to drift from Kuro to the rest of the fighter craft, exploring her surrounding with her eyes, while remaining alert...

[The surface of ch'Revellion]

After gaining clearance, Tr'Kuro slowly makes his final approach, docking in the shuttle bay. After skillfully securing the craft, he looks back at her for a moment. Clearing the hatch, he hops out of the cockpit and reaches up to assist her. He pulls her bags from a cargo compartment and takes them to someplace he can store them temporarily. He returns to find her looking about the station. T'Pranara who had wondered on her own away from the Romulan Fighter was standing infront of a wall reading a Map, trying to get used to her new strange surrounding, when she was interupted by Tr'Kuro, who found her. "How about a drink, to calm your nerves? My treat."

T'Pranara looked up, not sure what to say, almost stuttering on her words, "Yes, some fruit juice will do fine," She answered feeling the dryness in her throat.
