With all crew and shuttles aboard and the mission completed, Raith orders Helm to leave orbit and lay in course for ch`Revelion max. warp. The platoon disperses. Some go to unpack and rest, while others meet in the mess and look back on the mission.
At 2000 hours ship time, Raith calls a senior staff meeting in the war room (deck 3 forward section). The Various Officers arrive (Den and tr`Nerik included) and take seats around the central table. Raith introduces t`Kethry and tr`Nerik but declines response to inquiries on them. He promises to inform the senior staff as soon as he has had a chance to talk to both officers in private. The meeting continues with reports being given and future strategies are discussed. After the last officer finishes their report Raith grins and stands.
tr`Raith> ::reaches into his bag and pulls out a dark wood case:: This mission proved something to me... something I wish to reward you for. ::opens the box:: It showed me that I have a good crew, who are willing to put their lives on the line even if I, as the commander, do not give you adequate reason to. ::grins again:: Erien-a tr`Shaleya, t`Kethry, and tr`Kuro- Front and center!
Ent`Kethry> ::looks slightly confused but stands in front of her CO::
Entr`Kuro> ::smirks and follows suit::
Entr`Shaleya> ::stands before the CO, cool as ice::

erie`Arrain tr`Kuro> ::returns the salute and walks back to his seat::

Farein-a> ::jump up and stand at attention before the CO::

Treat him and erie`Riov t`Kethry with the same respect I expect from all of you. ::pauses reaching into his box:: In closing: Before I arrived at the meeting I was on the com with Enriov tr`Ronga and informing him of our success. He was most pleased with the lot of you and accepted my promotional requests. He also ::pause as he pulls out another bar from the box:: Promoted me. ::places a black rank bar next to his existing two silver ones:: I only hope that I can continue serving him as Sub-Commander of the platoon and crew.
ERvtr`Raith> ::smiles and nods to his officers:: that is all. Dismissed!
The officers rise and converse merrily as they leave the room. Raith turns and packs away his things. He is about to leave when the sound of a woman clearing her throat catches his attention.
ERvtr`Raith> Yes Meria? ::turns to face her::
EAt`Kethry> ::nods:: Might we have a word with au?
ERvt`Kethry> ::folds her arms across her chest:: Ie- it is time to hear some answers.
