Elq layed in bed thinking about the night before and the conversation with Remi and Kuro. He wasn't sure what would come of it. He just knew he hated the turn things had taken on the Kalen.

It didn't matter.
The more he thought about the night before the more his thoughts came back to something he said--or had Remi said it?--he wasn't sure. But in any event someone had said something about Kandeen's motives, about being unsure of who he was and why the sudden interest in having the crew clinging to his beck and call. He wondered who this officer was that wanted his loyalty. It was time to go back to one of his old talents.
The only reason he'd ever joined the Galae in the first place was because he couldn't find records of his father from the outside. He'd figured it would be easier to hack into them from the inside--besides it was a nice excuse to get away from ch'Revellion for awhile...
Elq started plugging away at the console in front of him. He knew getting information on a senior officer would be a challenge, but it wasn't like he hadn't done it before.
