SRR Ra`KalenChapter One Hundred-Sixteen: Pranara, Meria, and Den
[Kalen, Oira]

Pranara sat on the floor of the Oira hidden behind the Ops station. Beside her lay a panel that was originally attached to the side of the station. "hmmm," she thought aloud as she took out various isolinier chips and examined them individually with tricorder. She then replaced three of the four chips back in their sockets before checking the some of the wiring.

She placed the solitary chip on the floor beside the panel covering so that she could use both hands to pull out the wiring and check to see it if it was damaged. Before long, she placed the wires back, and clipped it to the side of the access opening. Leaving the panel on the floor she picked up the chip and stood up stretching the length of her body from sitting too long.

Pranara sighed inwardly as she momentarily looked in the thrones direction. Till now she felt comfortable behind the station out of view, though her presence didn't seem to phase the Commanding officer from what he was doing.

She placed her weight on the forefront of her feet as she considered leaving the Oira. She wanted to lighten the sound of her walk as to not draw attention. The only noise that anyone would hear is the closing of the turbo lift doors, too late for anyone to question her. Though she knew she would have to return. She sighed at the thought as she brought her contemplations into action and made her way to the Turbo lift, carrying the chip.

[Turbo Lift]

Pranara leaned against the turbo lift door, watching through the closing doors to a CO who looked toward her. Inwardly she grinned as she called out her destination into the air, "Engineering."

She looked down at the isolinier chip that she held, turning it over in her hand ever once and so often in a fidget while waiting for the lift to reach its destination.

[Engineering]

Pranara walked out of the lift looking quickly in the direction of the CEO's office for Erien Tr'Remi. On seeing the empty office she began to look around before a voice called her from behind.

"Jolan tru t'Kunel?" an Erien addressed her behind causing Pranara to turn quickly though not flinching.

"This isolinier chip from my Operations console has warn out. I need it replaced." No sooner she had explained, the Erien took the chip from her hand and disappeared through a door, not saying a word. Pranara shrugged as she observed a not too distant display that was still flickering out once in a while, the fact which caught her eyes attention for a moment.

She walked toward the console to observe it more closely when the Erien barged in, "Here au are, this should do au," he said loudly handing over the replacement, "Is there anything else?"

"No Erien, that will be all," she replied while looking at him with a hard gaze which she dropped suddenly when his eyes met hers. She then turned her heel and walked out of engineering.

[Turbo lift]

Approaching the turbo lift again, she thought about the look that the CO would most likely give her when she would return to the Oira. She looked at the new chip before walking into the turbo lift calling out the destination again. She waited for the lift to return her to the Oira as she wondered at the response, but when the lift doors opened, she kept her gaze to the floor and rushed to the refuge that the behind of the station seemed to emit...

Meira sat in medbay, looking over the lists of things needing repair. There had been many casualties, and she had na heard from her Aunt before leaving. Everything needed some sort of repair, even the crew, although the lights in the bay now worked.

The staff meeting on the Oira was interesting. They now had a new Enar, and Meira wondered what had happened to Raith. But of course she was na going to ask. Her aunt Den was the one that had more experience with politics.

"Rekkhai.. tr`Shayla is awake and stable..." the Nurse replied, handing her an IDS.

"Mehnka..." Meira replied, smiling as she headed to where Ru was.

*=\/=*

Den sat in her chambers, thinking about the conversation she had with General Tomalak. She had na been home to Romulus in years, staying on Earth. Her only contact to her home was the woman who was now Empress. She was na sure of the outcome, and only in the end would they know...she kept telling herself it was for the people it was for the people. If she remembered that things would go well...
