SRR Morrahe`VnuChapter Eight: Alucard
[in the ch`Vania woods]

..The woods all look the same to me now...

A dark and gnarled figure of a man, wearing a once form fitting black dress shirt and pants, stumbles around in the dark. His clothing, which bears the unmistakable Tal`Shiar influences, is in rags now, and hangs off his unnaturally thin form. he holds no visible weapons, but his hands, neck, and lower face are all obscured by wrapped cloth bindings.

Nothing in the woods, not even the most insane of monsters will go towards him. The faint glow that emits from his hollowed out eyes is more than enough incentive to most to stay away... the large stack of bodies he had climbed out of moments before diswayed the rest.

"Who goes there?" A commanding voice calls down from a prominent tree at the edge of a glade. The blind man stumbles, but catches himself against said tree's base, and looks around, in vain, for the voice's source.

"I have watched au walk for some time," The voice is of a man, but not. Things sound too silky on a throat-- but too deep and commanding to be a woman. "The monsters of the dark, and my father's men ignore au-- or openly drop back to let au pass. Who are au to wield such power over the uncommandable?"

..I can not remember...

"Can au na speak-- can au not hear or understand my words?" The sound of metal running across an oiled surface echoes down the tree. "Are au so much of a retch, to not understand ninte own language?"

"..Ihh.. duhooo... nha...remembehhher" The withered forces out in a harsh rasp.

Than man in the tree scoffs, and drops down with a smashing blow to the monstrosities head. pulling the silvery hilt back, he stabs the beast over and over again in the chest, until it drops to the ground.

"May au rest in a better place than here, creature." The man sheaths his blade and turns to look at the silhouetted castle on the hill. "Soon father, very soon, it will be your turn to join ninte creations..."
