SRR Morrahe`VnuChapter Seven: The Scooby-Gang
[Planet ch'Vania]

Byh'hie leads the bunch through the forest, occasionally casting an inconspicuous glance over her shoulder at the distant snap of a twig now and again, but she only shakes her head and keeps plodding on. She knew the other would catch up eventually. Llunih would often pause in her footsteps, turning her head to watch the agent's progress now and again, but doesn't warn the others of his presence either. She didn't see him as a threat...if anything, he seemed more concerned for his friends then anything else at this point. Sighing, she casts another glance at Rylan, and follows the group silently.

Eventually, the little group of four conspirators finally make it to Byh'hie's cabin and have settled themselves in without waiting for Vyynd to catch up, as his presence was still unknown to at least two of the party. As they enter Byh'hie gestures around her cabin in welcoming, "It's na much...but it's home."

D'Tarik steps in behind her and looks around, "Nice place." Sprinkles lets out a small squeak in agreement, as the furred creature seems to check the place out.

Rylan waits for Llunih to enter before him, then shuts the door closed behind them all, not even bothering to glance back outside. "Au know D'Tarik...we probably should've at least told Vyynd that we were coming here. He's probably still sitting by that hole." Llunih, who had been silently standing just inside the room, glances out the window at the mention of Vyynd's name, and spies him looking the cabin over from afar.

"Why?" D'Tarik answers his friend's statement, "I still say hitting him on the head with a rock is the best course of action to take with him."

Rylan shakes his head and grins back, "Will au stop with that rock business already! Au'rh obsessed!"

D'Tarik looks over to Rylan, "Oh come on, au know au want to as much as I do."

Byh'hie listens to the banter for a moment, then heads for the kitchen, "Any io hungry yet? I'm starved!" Sprinkles seems to appreciate her sentiment, and lets out a big squeak.

Rylan, finally noticing that Llunih is still staring out the window, wonders why, and glances out it himself. He shrugs as he doesn't see anything, and answers Byh'hie's question, "Ie....I am. Hann'yyo." .

"I think," offered D'Tarik, "Sprinkles wants some food."

Rylan raises a brow and turns away from the window, "Just Sprink?" he pauses then adds, "What the hell does it eat anyway?" Llunih glances at him as he turns away, then resumes her watch on Vyynd. Her head tilts in curiosity, wondering when the other will approach.

"HE, na it...." D'Tarik interjects, "has a very complex diet of water, dried fruits, grains and vegetables."

Byh'hie pokes her head out of the kitchen and addresses Llunih, "If au'rh waiting for their friend to show himself, I doubt he will, since he has been walking after us for some time."

Rylan doesn't seem to hear this. Instead, he smirks at the smaller boy, "I don't even want to know how io can tell a female Tribble from a male." D'Tarik wonders what Llunih had been looking at, and wanders over to the window himself. Rylan, who had just about to sit down, hears an unexpected knock on the door.

Shrugging, he heads back over and opens it, his face suddenly taking on a guilty look, as he grins to the newcomer. D'Tarik suddenly asks, "Who is it Rylan? If he's selling anything, we don't want it."

"Jolan'tru Vyynd!" Rylan finally manages, "How'd au get here?" he calls back over his shoulder to D'Tarik and the others saying as cheerfully as he could, "It's Vyynd!"

Vyynd stands half soaked in blood, leaning against the door frame, "Jolan'tru Rylan....so *glad* au guys decided to come back."

D'Tarik calls out, "Hey Vyyndey! Au ok?"

Rylan explains quickly, "Ah! We found an easier way out then the vine." He motions into the room beyond him, and adds with a grin, "Please! Come inside." He calls out to Byh'hie as he waits for the other boy to enter, "Another visitor for au!!"

Vyynd steps into the room, and promptly chucks a rock over the top of D'Tarik's head, "Fvadt...I missed..." he laughs a bit and sits down, looking around the room. Sprinkles didn't seem to appreciate the rock at all, and the Tribble fires off his laser. The warning shot hits the floor right in front of Vyynd's feet.

D'Tarik smirks at his pet's actions, "Ummm...bad Tribble....ie...that will do."

Rylan's eyes widen at Vyynd's little display, knowing for sure now that the Tal'Shiar student must have heard the little group talking in the cave. "So...." he points towards Vyynd's bloody uniform, "What's ya' been up to?"

Vyynd laughs at the Tribble, "Sprink, don't think I missed accidentally." He looks up at Rylan, and answers him, "Well, following ninte stint at the hole, I sat and waited....then was promptly met by several dozen zombies....." He looks over at the scared woman, "A werewolf jumped into the melee too. He was taken down by zombies, but not before taking out a bunch of them." Vyynd wipes his brow and face off with a cloth, "I'm not sure if he would have attacked me had we handled the zombies.....but I doubt they're that honorless."

Rylan listens to the tale, sitting down across from Vyynd, waiting for him to get to the fact that he was in the cave. Llunih smiles towards the Tal'Shiar student, shaking her head. She types quickly on the ISD: 'Ie. He would've attacked au. He's probably lost himself.', and shows her statement to Vyynd as Byh'hie brings out food and drink, and sets it on the table.

"So Vyynd," D'Tarik questions, "how come au followed us and hid from us like that?"

Rylan hides a grin at the smaller boy's words, as that was what he had been waiting to hear all about, "Ie Vyynd! Tell us how au knew we were here."

Vyynd chuckles rather strangely, "D'Tarik, I didn't hide from au.....this lady here noticed me within seconds....and the other soon afterward. The only ones I may have hid from, were au and Rylan."

"Within seconds?" Rylan's surprised eyes travel between Llyriah and Vyynd, and he pauses momentarily, "And exactly when were these 'seconds'?"

Vyynd continues his speech to D'Tarik, "And I followed au for obvious reasons, we're friends, it's my mission, and we're stuck in this together." Sprinkles jumps on to the table, and begins to rummage through the food with his claw to find vegetables for himself. Vyynd bumps the creature aside, and grabs a drink for himself. He finally answers Rylan's question with a grin, "Back at the cave, during ninte technical speech."

Rylan watches the Tal'Shiar student take a drink, and he helps himself to one as well, "Ie...I think I'm going to need io of those as well! So...." he grins again guiltily, "Technical speech? Since then, eh?" he casts a glance to Llunih, his next question directed at the pair of them, "Why didn't au say anything?"

D'Tarik just sits back in a chair away form the group listening in. He appears as if he may be trying to figure something out. Byh'hie smiles at him, and grabs some food, carrying it over on a plate to D'Tarik. Vyynd swishes the drink in his mouth for any unusual tastes, then swallows it, and answers Rylan, "Ie, au were giving quite an interesting io at that.....more representable then D'Tarik's usual."

Rylan said carefully "Well...it wasn't exactly my speech. I was reading it."

Vyynd puts the drink back on the table and leans toward Rylan. He whispers "Don't worry friend, certain things will stay out of my reports." With a nod, Vyynd leaned back and relaxed in his seat.

D'Tarik looks up to the blond and accepts the offered plate, "Ummmm....hann'yyo. I'm just thinking of something..." He reaches into his lab coat and pulls out his own ISD, and starts typing furiously.

Rylan lowers his eyes, feeling extremely bad for mistrusting his friend, he nods and smiles back "Hann'yyo for that, Vyynd."

Byh'hie smiles a bit more, at least the boy hadn't blushed or fainted this time! She leans in closer to him, reading over the ISD he held. He seemed to be working on his theories for a cure on the small party's "werewolf problem" and fixing Llunih's voice as well.

Vyynd nods again at Rylan, "Au'rh aefvadh."

Llunih, finishes typing on the ISD, and hands it to Vyynd. It simply reads: 'So...au all will stay here then? Au won't go back to the colony?'

Vyynd reads it over, then answers her question, "I planned to head back to the colony with these guys as soon as we're ready....why wouldn't I?"

D'Tarik looks up from his ISD briefly, and states matter-of-factly, "Because we are staying here. He then continues on with his typing, seemingly in dismissal of the Tal'Shiar student.

Distressed at Vyynd's statement, Llunih shakes her head, and looks back to Rylan. The boy quietly tries to explain to his friend, "Apparently au weren't there for the whole talk back in the cave."

Vyynd laughs at D'Tarik's remark earlier, "Just because au have a hard-on doesn't mean we're staying." His banter is interrupted by himself at the intrigue from Rylan, "Ie? What did I miss?"

Rylan points to the scar at Llunih's neck. "They did that to her, and left her for dead."

Vyynd scratches his chin, then asks for clarification, "*Who* did that?"

Llunih types quickly again on the ISD: 'A group of the colonists who are working with the Deaus. They hunt down any new arrivals to the colony, and take them to the castle for more experiments.' She shows the declaration to Vyynd.

D'Tarik, not even looking up from his ISD, interrupts the conversation of the small group, "Hey Llunih! I think I may have a cure to get au back ninte old self . Can I have a sample of ninte blood?

Llunih smiles hopefully and nods her head eagerly, mouthing the word "Ie"

Vyynd, nods to the back of Llunih's head, then turns to Byh'hie and Rylan, "So have au two been staying cool lately?"

Rylan grins in answer, "I'm always cool, Vyynd."

Vyynd grins back, "Ah ie...."

D'Tarik puts his ISD back in his lab coat and pulls a needle out of his pocket and slowly stands up and walks towards Llunih. Vyynd directs part of his attention to D'Tarik, as the boy approaches closer.

Byh'hie approaches Vyynd, and takes the ISD out of his hand. Giving it a look over, she addresses him, "So this should settle the matter. Au'rh staying here, ie?"

Vyynd looks up to the girl "Ie, if that is acceptable with au?"

She smiles and walks away again, calling over her shoulder, "As long as au mind ninte manners, it's fine with me.

Vyynd laughs in answer to her, "Who, me?"

D'Tarik holds out the needle to Llunih, "Now, hold out ninte arm...this may sting." The girl complies, holding her arm out patiently. D'Tarik puts the needle in her arm and quickly takes some blood, then just as quickly removes it again, "Ok, that should do it. Now...." he turns to Byh'hie and points towards her weapon, "I am going to need that silver kalen of ninte-a."

Rylan's attention perks up at hearing the mention of silver in such close proximity to Llunih, "Why? What do au need that for?"

"Good question...." Vyynd supplies. Byh'hie at first hesitates, then her trust for the smaller boy won out, and she hands him the weapon.

D'Tarik answers simply as Llunih takes an uncertain step away from him, "Because I'm going to work on that cure we were talking about for your girlfriend."

Rylan's low voice demands, "Explain that please...*now*. He pulls the disruptor out of it's holster, and rests it on the table, pointing the barrel of it towards the smaller boy. He mutters quietly to Vyynd, "And to think it was au I mistrusted...."

D'Tarik, takes the offered kalen and seems very serious now, "Ok, now I need a place where I can get some work done. He glances around the room, then notices the disruptor in his friend's hand. He frowns and looks hurt, "Rylan do you think I would *ever * do anything to her when I said I would help her?"

Rylan, really na sure what to believe anymore, only says flatly, "Au'rh holding a silver kalen na two feet away from her, going on about 'curing her problem', D'Tarik. What am I supposed to think?"

Vyynd places a hand on Rylan's shoulder and says quietly, "Calm down Rylan.....perhaps we should closely observe the experiment?"

Rylan flashes a sarcastic grin to Vyynd, "Ie...the words experiments and D'Tarik...that kind of has a familiar...frightening...ring to it, don't au think?"

Vyynd nods at this, "Ie, hence why he should be quite carefully observed."

"I think I may need a small amount of silver to cure her." D'Tarik tries to explain, obviously hurt by his friend's words as well as his actions, "A very small amount....but you act like I'm going to attack her or something."

Llunih had lost her uncertainty of the boy's intention towards her, as she didn't smell the intent of an attack from him. She shakes her head at Rylan, waiting for him to put the weapon away. Rylan sees this, and though his brow creases in his concern for her, he lowers the weapon all the same. "Ie....go on then...*carefully* now, D'Tarik."

D'Tarik looks back at Byh'hie, "So...umm...do au have a room I could use?"

Byh'hie points off toward the kitchen, nodding, "Ie. Use that io." and on the heels of this, she thinks silently to herself, 'Should be easier to clean up if au make a mess.'

D'Tarik nods to the blond, and lowers his head, his feelings obviously still hurt over the mistrust that his friend had displayed. He quietly walks into the kitchen not bothering to look at any of them. Rylan watches him for a moment, then takes another drink. Feeling bad for mistrusting na io, but both of his friends in the course of io day, he follows the shorter boy into the kitchen, waiting for the opportunity to apologize to present itself. Vyynd shadows the two in the kitchen, and stands behind Rylan. D'Tarik casts a look behind him at the pair, "I prefer to work alone." he states quietly.

Rylan sighs, "I'm sorry if I hurt ninte feelings D'Tarik. But au have to admit that did seem strange...still, I'd like to help if that's alright?"

"Rylan...." D'Tarik begins, then decides against it, "Ok, fine." he hands him the kalen, "Get me a small piece of silver off this. That's all au can do really. I'm going to need to work all night."

Rylan takes the kalen, and nods quietly, not knowing if he's been forgiven or not. Seeing Vyynd quietly observing their actions through his tiresome visage, Rylan walks over to his equipment bag and rummages around, until he finds what he is looking for. Using a cutter, he directs the small beam to slice off a small sliver off the blade. He shrugs, handing the kalen back to it's original owner, then gives the sliver of the metal to D'Tarik. The small boy drops the piece of silver into the blood sample, and mixes the two together thoroughly.

The experiment had begun.

[While DT works...]

"Alright au little bastard! GIN!!!!" Vyynd growled and threw a hand of cards onto the floor, laughing with victory.

His response, the fierce coo of Sprinkles as it nudged it's cards onto the floor.

"What the?!?!" Vyynd darted his nose several inches from the cards and read them. "Rekop gniyalp rof selur." Vyynd's eyes got big and he looked at the Tribble, "What in the...." He was interrupted as the tribble spun the card to face him. "*Rules for Playing Poker!!!*" The Tal'Shiar student jumped to his feet and pointed at Sprinkles, "Rylan! He's cheating!"

The man's attempts at communication were only met with Rylan's taunting, and obnoxious, laughter which slowly faded into snores.

[Much later on that night]

The agent slept...

Vyynd tr'Khaine spread out on the soft hammock and relaxed his muscles, comforting himself with the views of the weeping willow tree above him and the lake in front of him. Not to mention the sights of Bhy'hie and Llunih feeding him grapes. Now this was the life.....until Vyynd awoke on the floor with Rylan talking immensely loud in his direction.
