SRR Morrahe`VnuChapter Fifty-Six: Time off for Vyynd
[Outside Medlab, just after being helped out by the staff...]

Vyynd looked around the hallway, seeing now one out and about at the time, he immeadiately keeled over to one hand on his knee. He maintained a slight footing, and stumbled to the side of the door, groaning through his clenched teeth in immense pain. Emni and tr'Rogel were both well aware of his initial orders to the medical, tr'Khaine didn't much like the Medical ways of bonegrafters and painkillers, and so they regretfully followed most of his wishes. Whenever he was taken there to be healed, any scars, unless otherwise wished, were maintained as best they could be; and anything less then a broken bone or otherwise lingering injury was left to heal on his own. Foolish, and no one could believe it to build character, it was supposed that only he could really understand it.

Several minutes had passed, when the second in command of the squad was released. tr'Khaine had coped, and was only rubbing his shoulder calmly leaning against the wall, waiting. Upon seeing her appear from the through the doors, he surprised her by gently grabbing onto her arm and pulling her to face him. Now holding on to both of her arms, "Arhem usae..." he lowered his eyes from her slightly and quietly spoke.

She placed her hand on his shoulder, "Na, au don't need to be sorry...it was na me au were fighting, nor was it au I was fighting, remember?" she smiled encouragingly. He looked up to her eyes and let his hands drop to his sides, and smiled. "Ie, then arhem usae for never asking ninte name...does that work?" he smirked proudly. "Ie, au dha'rudh !" she started laugh jokingly, "Aeris t'Rharin...and ninte name, tr'Khaine, au have a first io, or has it already been changed to Rekkhai?" she continued to laugh.

Surprisingly, Vyynd joined her laughed after the first comment, "Ie, Vyynd..." he continued to laugh with her.

"That's a wonderful name..." she tilted her head and smiled, letting some of her loose hair hang down from the side. "Indeed, nearly as wonderful as Aeris is..." he smiled back at her. After a moment of happy silence, Vyynd's intercom fizzled for a second, then beep

Vyynd tapped his comm, "Ie?"

The voice replied happily, "In light of ninte current status, au have been granted leave for a bit, enjoy it Eredh...mnean will be docking with the station for resupply soon, au will be notified if au are needed beyond your leave."

Vyynd smiled, looking blankly at Aeris, "Hann'yyo Rekkhai..."

After the line had gone silent again, he raised a brow at t'Rharin, then lifted an arm and gently grabbed her hand that was still on shoulder, and moved it off and dropped his hands back to his sides. "Would au like to join me for a while? I'm in need of some fun lately.....what do you say?" he smiled innocently and stretched his back and arms a bit. Slightly stunned and surprised, she replied with an uncertain grin, "ummm, ie...of course, rekkhai..." They both began walking, and reflecting on the last word said, the pair burst into laughter further down the corridor.
