[Computer Lab]
A strange, scaly, bi-ped little creature with long pointed ears and an
almost cat-like face, pops out of the holoemitter in the computer lab,
landing next to a console near the door. After a few seconds, another little
creature follows the first, landing beside it's companion.
The first, a dark green one with black, almost zebra-like stripes along it's
back and tail, nudges the new arrival towards the door, intent on seeing if
they could manage to exist in the hall. But the other little creature with
the ears that drooped slightly -- giving it an appearance of a deranged
rabbit -- only grinned; showing two rows of pointed, sharp-looking little
teeth. Droopy-Ears waved a clawed-finger in the air, then pointed at the
main computer core in the center of the room. Zebra-Stripes grinned then,
nodding it's little head in agreement. Soon the two little creatures --
dodging the feet of the tall Rihans around them, and pretty much going
unnoticed as the Rihans busied themselves with their own duties of cleaning
up after the 'invasion of the three-headed-bat`leif wielding-blue dragon' --
found themselves near their destination.
Droopy-Ears hopped up on the shoulders of Zebra-Stripes, and opened one of
the computer core's panels. Peering curiously within, it's big, snake-like
eyes shinning with an almost knowledgeable glee, it reached it's two little
clawed hands into the circuitry, and moved the wires in what looked like an
almost hap-hazard, random way. Apparently pleased with this new
configuration it had made, Droopy-Ears threw a wad of spit upon the
newly-configured connections. A few sparks went off, the lights
flickered...dimmed...came on...dimmed again.... giving the Rihans around
them a momentary pause.
Seeing that the new connections were now fused in place, Droopy-Ears grinned
down at Zebra-Stripes then jumped of it's companion's shoulders. Quickly,
still without being noticed the two dodged feet and legs, and scrambled back
to a nearby holoemitter. Then popped back into it......
[Rhagarokk's Lab]
Rhagarokk, in a fierce battle with a sonic screwdriver, warns the object
angrily, "Back! Back! I made au, I can break au!" So engaged in grappling
with the tool, he doesn't notice when the lab suddenly has new visitors.
Zebra-Stripes pops out of a holoemitter in the lab, hiding behind one of the
lab tables to peek out curiously at the Rihan, just as Droopy-Ears pops out,
landing on it's companion's shoulders. Both of the little creatures watch in
curious amusement as the Rihan's battle with the screwdriver quickly comes
to a halt when Rhagarokk hurls the sonic screwdriver at the wall, shattering
it into pieces. "That'll teach au!" he declares, then adds in a calmer tone,
"At least they did na do anything to my experiments...."
Zebra-Stripes grins up at his companion, and points a clawed finger over to
the table with a few such experiments; some of Rhagarokk's modified
holoemitters, and his pride and joy: his modified tech-Kaleh. Nodding his
head, Droopy-Ears jumps out from behind their hiding spot, and onto the
table; going for the Kaleh.....
As his companion's feet leave his shoulders, Zebra-Stripes suddenly runs
out -- lightening quick -- from around the hiding spot, and latches on to
the Leih's leg. Opening his mouth wide, he bites down on the Rihan's flesh:
chomp!-chomp!-chomp! Rhagarokk paused, and looked down to see the little
creature who had attacked him, then suddenly the pain registers, "OW!!" he
kicks his leg frantically, trying to get the creature off him.
This apparently only amuses Zebra-Stripes, "Weeeee!" as he rides the
kicking leg like it's bronco night. Meanwhile, as his companion distracted
the Rihan, Droopy-Ears seems fascinated by the shinny-new-looking kaleh. He
picks it up to examine it curiously, then grins when he sees all the
interesting buttons on the hilt. Soooo many buttons! Which one to press
first......
Kicking his leg against the wall now, Rhagarokk warns Zebra-Stripes angrily,
"Get off get off get off! I've fought worse things than au!" Then, catching
the glint of light reflected off metal, he glances over and sees the other
creature, "Hey! Hands off my kaleh!" Believing he's stunned the creature
who had attacked him, Rhagarokk heads over to retrieve his prized possession
from the other.
Zebra-Stripes doesn't seem phased in the least at hitting the wall
repeatedly. The creature shakes his head, then quickly scrambles up the
Rihan until he's perched upon his back. Zebra Stripes grabs a hold of the
Rihan's ears, and P-U-L-L-S.
Rhagarokk tries to get the creature off of his ears, "Ouch!" while still
stumbling over to the kaleh, "Hey, get off of that!" he warns Droopy-Ears,
"Au can't possibly understand the theory!" More interested in finding out
what the buttons do, then worried about the Rihan that's approaching, Droopy
ears sits down, and positions the hilt between both his feet and his
clawed-hands. Then presses all of the interesting little buttons at
once.....
Zebra-Stripes finally lets go of his hold on one of Rhagarokk's ears, only
to suddenly bite down on the tip of it: Chomp! Rhagarokk grits his teeth
through the pain, "THAT'S IT!" he yells, just as Droopy-Ears finds what
pushing all the buttons of the kaleh at once will do. The end of the hilt,
which is aimed rather fortuniously, suddenly opens and shoots glitter all
over the room, a real big blast of the stuff going right in Rhagarokk's
face.
Diving, Rhagarokk rolls with Zebra-Stripes still biting down on his ear,
towards another lab table. After being slightly squished, Zebra-Stripes
let's go of his grip, and leaps from the floor to land next to his
companion, chattering furiously at the Rihan. Droopy-Ears, meanwhile, is
jumping up and down on the hilt of the kaleh, trying to get the device to
stop spraying glitter. But that doesn't seem to work. The kaleh only
starts dumping more of the stuff at an incredible rate.
Still enraged at the Rihan for throwing him off, Zebra-Stripes starts
throwing random stuff at the Rihan. Most of it misses, but a nice big
beaker flies through the air, and bounces off the Rihan's head, making
Rhagarokk duck back down behind the lab table he was using for cover. The
glitter is now coming out so fast, the floor is covered in about an inch of
the shiny-stuff.
Rhagarokk starts pulling out the storage-drawers from the lab table, spiting
out glitter while searching though the assorted gadets and gizmoes.
"Aha!..." *ptoui* "....Found it!"
Angered that the Rihan won't come out from under cover, Zebra-Stripes jumps
down to the floor and grabs as much of the glitter as it can gather in his
arms. Jumping over to the table the Rihan is hiding behind, he dumps the
gathered glitter on his head....then for good measure jumps on his back
before scrambling away again. Rhagarokk suddenly leaps up, into a headful
of glitter, before angrily pointing what looks to be a TV remote at the
pair.
Droopy-Ears finally just presses one button, hoping that will turn the
glitter off. It doesn't, but the kaleh does let out with a brief burst of
flame, setting poor Droopy-Ears on fire. Droopy-Ears runs around the lab,
making high pitched shrieking sounds. Startled by this strange twist of
events, Zebra-Stripes starts throwing piles of glitter on his companion in
an effort to put out the flames. Droopy-Ears finally dives off the table he
had leapt to, into the pile of glitter that is quickly flooding the room, to
put himself out. Zebra-Stripes suddenly sees the Rihan with the something
in his hand then ducks behind a lab table, into the ocean of glitter.
Rhagarokk triumphantly presses a button on the remote, cutting the power to
the holoemitters in the lab. By this point he's up to his armpits in
glitter, "I bet au didn't know about that, did au, au
khlee!" He starts to wade towards the door. As it opens, some of the
glitter spills out into the room beyond.
After the doors are closed once more, two little heads pop up out of the sea
of glitter and grin to each other. Swimming almost merrily in the glitter
for a moment, they head back towards one of the holoemitters. First
Zebra-Stripes pops back into the emitter, Droopy-Ears following close
behind.....
