SRR Morrahe`VnuChapter One Hundred - Fourteen:
What to do...what to do....
[240102.26 Conference Room of the Wildstrike....]

Last time we saw the crew, they had gone outside to talk to the natives. Rhagarokk asked the gathering horde to join his clan, and the people happily agreed. Now, the crew of the Morrhae`Vnu are currently sitting in the conference room, awaiting for the meeting that the Leih has called, to start. The Farien tr`Tahn has seemed to fall asleep again, his head resting against the conference room table with a bit of drool coming out of the corner of his mouth. Ry leans back a little in his chair, waiting for the meeting to start, and glances over at Vyynd to see the Tal`Shiar agent leaning against a wall near the table with his eyes closed. Emni enters the room and takes a seat at the table, followed a few minutes later by DT. Soon after everyone gathers, the Leih enters the room and takes the lead seat. "Aefvadh all." < welcome >

Vyynd opens his eyes as Rhagarokk entered, and the Leih raps his hand on the table loudly to wake up the sleeping tr`Tahn. With the same thought, Ry kicks the Farien lightly under the table to wake him up. Gehan jerks awake with all this, and wipes the drool away.

Ignoring this, Rhagarokk continues, "I've called au all here to this staff meeting to discuss the current situation." he explains, "Currently, as I hope most of au know, we are in the past. The ship is wrecked, and we have heavy injuries still. Currently, there are a bunch of the ancient peoples camped outside the ship, setting up a small city. Right now, our prospects of returning home are na looking good. Any questions so far?" he pauses to give the assembled officers the opportunity to speak.

Emni shakes her head no, and sees DT do the same. Since D`Tarik hasn't seen Emni for a few days, he gives her a nod. Emni smiles and nods back to him from across the table.

Rhagarokk looks around as all the officers pretty much indicated with a head-shake that they hadn't any questions for him at the moment, then continued. "Alright then. Now, the next step is figuring out what to do next."

"Well...." D`Tarik begins, "do we know what is going on, exactly? I'm a bit confused about what was up with the crowed outside and such."

Standing up, the Leih explains, "Well, from what I can tell, the people there think that we're sent from the Heavens as some kind of gods or legends or something. They think that I have some magic sword, too."

"That's interesting...." DT rubs his chin like he always does when he's thinking deeply.

"So," Rhagarokk continues, "I've decided to exploit the situation and let them believe we are so that they can serve us in our quest to return to our own time." he grins, "But, well, the ancient peoples aren't really known for their mastery of time travel..."

"I think I like that idea..." tr`Tahn muses out loud, "Gehan the God." This earned a little laugh from Emni.

"Well I already play god anyway..." DT adds, as he's a doctor, "So that works out ok..."

Rhagarokk looks over at the young Farien and warns, "Just don't go too far. We don't want to mess up the past anymore than we have."

"Ie, rekkhai." Gehan acknowledges.

Looking back over at the others assembled, Rhagarokk asks again, "However, the question remains on what to do next. We have power to the ship's replicators for now, but the more food, clothing, and supplies we make the less power we have in our reserves." he sits down again and leans forward onto the table, hands crossed in front of his face.

DT makes himself known and kind of raises his hand. Rhagarokk nods at him, but addresses them all. "Feel free to speak up, everyone. I need suggestions."

But before DT could say what was on his mind, Rylan interjects with, "These people are farmers. Normally wouldn't they give tribute to their Nobles anyway?"

And almost at the same time, Emni rephrases the same thought, "Well, if we're inferred as gods, then how would it function to elicit supplies from the natives? Maybe as a sort of required sacrifice?"

Rylan nods over to the assistant medical officer and agrees, "Yeah, see! That's my thought exactly."

The Leih nods at the two, "Ie, it's na very scientific," he grins, "but we do have a food source now."

Before he lost his chance again, DT puts forth his question, "Rekkhai, au are known for ninte inventions... is there anyway au can use - with some help of course - what we have to make some kind of time travel device? I mean, I know little of these matters...I just know au have a way of making interesting inventions and devices."

Rhagarokk looked over at D'Tarik as he spoke. "Of course, I *am* a scientific genius, but at the moment, I don't have a sufficient lab or power to work with. I might retreat for a little bit to try to work on one once we're set up here... but it might take forever."

"In that case," Emni supplied, "I think we should use our resources only for devising a way to get home, and look to the people for our supplies in exchange for services we can provide, like medical attention, and just being god-figures to them."

DT builds on her idea, "Maybe we should start by setting up camp outside the ship as repairs are being done as it's kind of dangerous to be in here I think..." Emni nods at his suggestion.

Rhagarokk frowns slightly at this, "I suppose roughing it is our only choice at this point. We get our 'friends' outside to provide while the engineers work on the ship. In the mean time, though..." he pauses, "I have our resident historian working on anything in the past. However, I do have assignments while he works on that for everyone here."

As everyone looks to the Leih, he gives each of them their orders. "General orders for everyone here are to explore and find out whatever you can about the land. Just make sure to let me, Rylan, or someone else at base here know before au head out. As for specifics, I'd like the two medical officers here to help the local peoples. Just be sure na to show off your equipment." Emni and DT acknowledge this with a nod.

"Vynnd, au are the intelligence officer and ranking Temporal Assessment Group agent with Aemhig trapped inside her own head. I need au to... well, gain intelligence. Be Tal'Shiar. And collect any data that anyone else comes up with." tr`Khaine makes the slightest nod with his head toward the Leih, then closes his eyes once more.

"Gehan and Rylan, au two are in charge of leading exploratory operations when they crop up and will be working on whatever defenses we might need here at the base. Everyone ok with your assignments?"

Ry nods compliance with an "Ie, rekkhai."

Gehan nods at this as well, adding "Love mine!" Earning him a grin and nod from Ry as he was in complete agreement.

Rhagarokk stands up, "Everyone's dismissed then. Report back to me whenever au find anything." Vyynd turns and heads out, proceeding to make a small network between ip's and isd's of the staff as an information internet for everyone's convenience and operations. Ry stands and bows his head slightly in the Leih's direction as he heads out. Gehan stands up from the chair and announces "Mmmm, I'm hungry. Time to exploit the natives!" Emni rolls her eyes and laughs slightly at that, as the Leih grins at the Farien's retreating back.
