KDE is a powerful graphical desktop environment for Unix workstations. It combines ease of use, contemporary functionality and outstanding graphical design with the technological superiority of the Unix operating system. KDE works with many window managers, but also contains its own. kde.themes.org focuses on the built-in theming capabilities of KDE. For KDE 1.1.2 this consists of the possibility to install window manager themes through the KDE theme manager. In KDE2 there is also support for widget and icon themes.
