Look Mom! We're covered in mud! Certainly one of the greatest achievements one can accomplish in the world of caving is coming out plastered in a thick coat of dirt and grime. Proudly displaying their great achievements, Kevin, Eric, Patrick, Rhiannon and Megan are actually preparing for the Woods Guide program by experiencing the caves of West Virginia for themselves. As I know from personal experience in outdoor programs at D&E, achieving the official mud-covered status is of great importance; however, achieving the confidence to lead which comes from each experience is priceless!
