The History of Labor in Chicago Exhibit
September 6,2009 through December 31, 2009
The exhibit is curated by the Illinois Labor History Society and entitled The Historyof Labor in Chicago will be on view at the Museum through December 31, 2009.

It addresses a series of labor studies including the "Eight-Hour Day Movement", the "Struggle to Organize Unions", and the "Role of Organized Labor". The exhibitfeatures historical photographs, artifacts and memorabilia provided by local unions
and the Illinois Labor History Society.

The project is funded, in part, by the Passaic County Cultural and Heritage Council
at Passaic County Community College, through a grant from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agancy of the National Endowment for the Arts.
