Karaoke

For all who don't know, I'm also a Karaoke singer, and I also create my own Karaoke songs. Here you can find my selfmade authoring tool for Karaoke CD's (CD+G's). Additionally, you'll need the burning program CDRWIN and a CD+G enabled CD or DVD writer (for instance, the Plextor PX-716A, which I currently use).
You can download it here (the authoring tool, not the writer)... it is now a new self-installing version.

This is a completely rewritten version which runs on Windows 7 and Vista and also should have much less bugs than the previous one.

Features include:
- Importing of pictures - also underneath the lyrics!
- Ability to change fonts, colors etc. - even within lines!
- Automatic syllable breaking (this, I think, is unique to this program)
- Two modes of setting the swipe (via mouse moves or via pressing the space bar)
- Ability to create songs with up to 8 different parts (color sets)
- Smooth swiping (in pixel steps, not in 6-pixel as some other programs do)
- Easy setting of color and font changes (not having to go through a difficult procedure for each change)
- Intelligent mode of replacing the screen - either by clearing (with smooth fading) or replacing the lines. While doing this, graphics errors on screen mostly vanish (unlike another program which lets them stay on screen forever)
- 3 different swiping modes (wipe text body only, or text body and outline)
- Pallette fading that's compatible with cheap DVD players (Can you find this anywhere else?)
- Near optimum usage of available CD+G bandwidth
- Automatic breakup of lines (impossible to do lines that don't fit on screen!)
- Ability to change EVERYTHING after the wiping has been attached and not breaking the wiping while doing so - as easily as before attaching the wipe! (no special procedures for breaking up lines etc.)
- Ability to leave certain portions of the lyrics unswiped (even parts of a line)
- Ability to swipe multiple lines on screen at once (good for overlapping duets such as "Little Drummer boy" by Bing Crosby and David Bowie)
- Correct MIDI and KAR file importing in various formats
- Ability to change each of the 16 colors used
- Each line on screen may be aligned differently (left, right or centered)
- Nearly unlimited number of lines on screen with no clearing errors (I think it supports up to 99 lines, not 4 as one professionally used tool)

Daf�r braucht man noch CDRWIN als Brennprogramm und einen CD+G- f�higen Brenner (z.B. Plextor PX-716A). Mit diesem Programm k�nnen auch Sie Ihre eigenen Karaoke-Songs erstellen!
