敝支隊學員/會員的定義：正在接受入隊前訓練，未獲香港聖約翰救傷隊批核及承認其隊隊員身份。除得授權，不得成立任何聲稱、宣稱或使用“聖約翰救傷隊”或“St. John Ambulance Brigade”為名稱的機構或從事與該機構相關的工作，或加入該機構作為成員，亦不得成立使用任何語言的名稱(不論附加字句或字樣與否)的機構，該名稱與“聖約翰救傷隊”或“St. John Ambulance
Brigade”的名稱極為相似。
