What have I been up to the last 30 yrs.? Got married, had 3 children (2 girls and 1 boy). After raising my children to school age, started nursing school and graduated with a B.S. in Nursing. Have worked as an RN for the past 12 years, mainly in the field of geriatrics; nursing homes and home health nursing. Have not worked in about a year due to my husband having open heart surgery last November. Stayed home to care for him. Am taking a correspondence course to write for children. I have served in the Navy (active duty) as well as serving as a reservist for 7 yrs. This gave me a lot of good medical experience for my future nursing career. We travelled the eastern 2/3 of the country this past July. Arrived back home to be with our oldest daughter and her husband to welcome their first child, our first grandchild, into this world. My husband Del and I will be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary this next March. In my spare time I like to collect dolls. Barbies, vinyl dolls (tiny tears, etc.), and cloth dolls.
Not very exciting but I'm happy with it.
