After graduation from MHHS, I went to Cuyahoga Community College for a year, then transferred to and graduated from Miami University in '74 with a degree in Systems Analysis. I married Sue Donley (from Lima, Ohio) in 1974. We settled in Dayton, Ohio, for 2 years, then moved to the San Francisco Bay area in 1978. Maintaining an unquenchable interest in music, I wrote and recorded an independent album of solo 12-string guitar instrumentals (and 2 vocals). After a few years of exploration, we moved to Los Angeles and were there from 1979 until 1985, seeing what it had to offer.

We had our first child in 1984, Elena, and decided to move somewhere on the West Coast that wasn't Log Angeles. We chose Carson City, NV. We had 2 more children, Brian 1986 (deceased) and Jesse 1988.

I worked as a programmer/analyst for a total of 14 years and finally decided it was too stressful of a position and that that wasn't the way I wanted to live. I became a truck driver, local for 9 years and the rest as a line driver (currently Reno to Los Angeles and back).

Sue and I divorced in 2003 and I have been with Janis Knight since 2004.

In 2005, I re-mastered and re-packaged my album into CD format. It is currently available on my website, www.davefritzmusic.com and on www.CDBaby.com. Janis did the photography for my website and the CD package, and you can see more of her work if you click on her name/credit on my site. I continue to perform and write material for the next CD.

I didn't get to know most of you during high school as I was painfully paralyzingly shy and introverted. But with a lot or work and help from some dear friends along the way, I've gotten through it. I wish every one of you the very best!
