Duty, Honor & Country...

"All gave some, some gave it all ..."
Salute tribute to our fallen comrades! Honor Guard Sentry at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier   Tribute -
.. to those that did not come home.

The Wall

This tribute page will be under "virtual" construction, like the flame marking the the grave and memory of President John F. Kennedy, a Navy veteran of another era...     "Some gave all" lyrics by Billy Ray Cyrus ...
To commemorate the beginning of this project, the Vietnam Casualty Search Page at http://www.no-quarter.org/ ... their Mission and the People

Capt Fred C. Wunderlich, USASF/SOG     And, a special tribute to a living hero, the man that got me started on this project, Captain Fred C. Wunderlich, USASF/SOG (U.S. Army Special Forces/Special Operations Group.)   MACV/SOG '69 and Nakhom Pahnom (NKP), Thailand '67.
Without his efforts to create a Vietnam Casualty db for the (over) 58,000 members of our armed forces that gave it all, I would not know where to begin ...
Fred now lives in a small beach community in Southern Thailand with his Thai wife and two daughters accessing the Internet from there...

I take great pride to be mentioned in the "same breath" as Vietnam Veterans and other Vietnam (Era) Veterans that served either in Vietnam or the surrounding Theatre of Operations referred to as S.E.A. (Southeast Asia.)   We all went and gave some of our youth, but unlike the people we try to honor with our tributes here, .. those that gave it all.   Many of us that served were inspired by 'JFK' to aid a small "corner of the world" being invaded by the communist regimes of the world.

Those that gave it all... We did not lose the war !     We lost a generation of fine people ...

Our politicians that were "REMF" in D.C. (and Paris)   ..   lost the war ...

The next web site I wish to honor with a link here is for MACV/SOG Memorial maintained by Mr. Robert Noe, a veteran himself and brother of a SOG/SF that gave it all.   You can reach him at (318) 445-7960 or by email at [email protected]
