Although many of the other states may have had casualties as few as 2 (Canal Zone,)
there may be a direct relation to population, ie, per capita in all states; imho,
Hawaii with 276* casualties and a population (at the time) less than a million may
be considered high or above average, eg, Nevada (151), Montana (268), Virgin Islands
(15), Puerto Rico (345), Guam (70) and Vermont (100) ...
