There is only a few things in life that are important here:   you must be a veteran , peace or war-time, and wanting to make a military-type
web site for my assistance !

    I may be "Army!" through'n through and you may be air force, navy or even - marine.   I won't hold that against you as long as you can handle my sly, sense of humor !   <gd&r>>>   ~mahknut is an e.e.o. 'semper fi' kind'a guy ...

    Whether you are just starting out, ie, don't have a web site yet, or been 'hacking' (literally) at that darn keyboard for ages without the results you want to achieve, just may be, I can perform my magic on ya !   .. or, try my "Knight'n Shining Armor" routine ...   ***

    Now, in order to help you out, I need to know what you are up to or into ..   <ugh>

*** Is "bandwidth" ailing you, buddy?   Don't expect miracles, if you have over 4 pictures on a page, is my advice.   ..not little ones !   32K+ ones !

    Don't sweat the "small stuff," just the major overview, plan (no plan,)
or hyper-link to your homepage and or "patient" in (dire) need of respiratory assistance ..

    Right now, I am "running on empty" with about .149 mb (1%) remaining of my own Yahoo!Geocities 15 megabyte web server space remaining ..   That is no reflection on you, it just means that my illustration space has been accounted for and I will have to provide you with assistance "back channel," so to speak, eg, ftp control, attachments and email methods.

How ~Mahknut Works :

    If you don't have a web site, get one, at Yahoo!Geocities (15 megs free); register what you want to call yourself, moi - "koratmahknut" (Yahoo! ID,) and select your super, secret password and give it to me.   Why?   I can't handle the "explanation" every step of the way to "placing" stuff on your web server !   If you (strongly) object, take your stuff down the road, please.   After I am thru, you can change it, your password, and keep me out - it's easy.

    If you can't follow instructions, get offended easy - ask a chaplain for help !
   
    Check-list :   web site, password info, material, eg, photo images and text file of what you want to say (subject to editorial) and email all to me for review.   Don't expect more than a homepage, from scratch, ie, "get you started."   Don't expect more than 3 or 4 pages "enhanced" at this price.. free.

Could you use 50 megabytes of web server space???

Well, I know I could and did - did get my own and the best part is it was free !
I (purposely) saved the best for last - for those that read on ...
For those that care enough about learning, reading that they didn't quit.
Precautions, ie, "word to the wise":
50 Megs dot-com does not allow you to move the banner from the top of the page
to, for example, the bottom; Yahoo!Geocities does.   Several attempts
to alter this annoyance was unsuccessful and a review of the technical support
indicated it is not possible without purchasing an account at $5.95 per month...
Therefore, there are several (advanced) options a "webmaster" may consider, eg,
"live" storage for zip downloads and large graphic image files that load
on a click/hyper-link option.
..wrong ...   50 Megs dot-com issues a "Forbidden" error message
Webmasters - Click here for an example of downloadable ZIP files...
IOW, you can place page(s) (in whole) on your banner-ad 50 Megs site, but no more ...
I intend to use it for both, plus my "charity airlift" work for others
as a way to display the work online and deliver with Internet-speed.
