"Oh, Koneko-chan. You guys are the Sailor Scouts. You would have been targeted no matter what. And it sounds like Jian-kun had been told lies his entire life."
"But Mi-chan wouldn't have been dating him! What happened at the dance wouldn't have been so bad if we hadn't known him."
"Shhh. Don't say that. If anything, you and Mi-chan having met him probably made it better." Tenshi gave Neko-chan a hug. "What happened to Jian-kun isn't your fault. What happened to Mi-chan isn't your fault either. It'll all get better, I promise." Tenshi sure hoped that promise wouldn't be broken.

Ryo had come home early to make sure that Michiru didn't go out into battle while Ami researched the recent attacks. Ami was home too now, and they were both working on hospital paper work in the study, occasionally checking on Chibi and Michiru to make sure that they didn't sneak out. Finally, he sensed Neko come home. He let her stay out there with Tenshi-chan, resisting the urge to interfere, despite the emotions he was sensing from out there.
"Ami, dear. You might want to have a talk with your oldest when she comes in. She's not quite over what happened at the dance."
Ami raised her eyebrows at him, as if to ask what he'd be doing instead.
"I'm going to have a talk with Tenshi-chan."
"Oh? About what? You're not planning to scare her off, are you?" Ami asked, half teasing, half concerned.
He laughed. "No, she's a little confused about being a Knight. I mean, besides the whole girl into guy issue, which frankly I can't help her with. But she apparently can't transform except instinctively to save Neko, so I thought I'd talk to her about that and maybe see if she has another attack, you know, the way Chibi uses shirukens and Tuxedo Kamen-sama could attack with his cane. Plus, I wanted to suggest that she gets some formal training in martial arts, not just the basics that Haruka-sama taught her over the years. Anyway, I thought it'd be best if she talked to a Knight about this. One who's not Gebriel or her King."
