KOMO News 4 1994-1998
This was the set that KOMO used when they were known as "The Satellite News Station."  The backdrop of Seattle on this set was actually chroma keyed, because the entire set itself was green. The only part of the set that wasn't green was the desk and upper banner.
This was the first generation set that KOMO used that featured the 'V' shaped desk. The maroon panels on the set were actually a series of vertical stripes made to look like a vertical window blind.  This set was introduced at the same time KOMO 4 News went to KOMO News 4. Also, in this year, KOMO began using a first generation Dan Dean theme, which was at the time electronically synthesized.
In late 1989, the set to KOMO News 4 took on the look that would remain for five years, with minor changes in color.  The major change was the omission of the maroon panels with gray granite-like panels surrounded in red trim. In this set, the panels were all one piece panels per side.  Also, the blue on the desk was changed to gray, and the blue trim on the desk was enlarged, and was changed to woodgrain. The carpet on this set changed to gray from a light blue.
Not much changed in this set from the above set, except for minor changes, like the omission for the single side panels to two-piece panels per side.
This set was the last of this design, and was also my most favorite. It was the same as the 1991 set, except for the color change in the set panels. In 1992, the panels changed from gray granite to a grayish-blue. And in 1993, the grayish-blue changed to a bright blue.
This was my least favorite set, and was technically the last set used at 100 Fourth Avenue North. It used too much blue, especially in the set panels, and the backdrop of Seattle was, in the early days of this set, too orange.  Major changes were made. The V shaped desk was dropped for an angular blocky desk, and the floor was more simple in design. The upper banner was monotone gray, with a gold reflective band running the length of it, splitting it in two. The gray columns were dropped, for two woodgrain columns on either side of the backdrop.  And just behind the desk, was a small little partition between the desk and main set backdrop itself.  In 1998, KOMO dropped the blue panels and changed the entire set to a panorama of Seattle, keeping the design of this set intact.
