The Bottomgun Rebreather
A group of like minded technical divers have banded together in a consortium to build our own rebreather. The prototype of the Bottomgun is nearing completion now. The prototype has been named the SP2000 in the grand tradition of Will Smither's TP2000 and 3000. The SP stands for sewer pipe and after viewing images of the prototype, it is obvious where the name came from. Much has already been learned and the second design is already underway prior to completion of the SP2000. The number of joints, machined parts, and overall system has been simplified.
