6 Note: All {but 3} respondents female. Studies (cites upon request) report from 5 to 8 female MPD's for every one identified male MPD. The abuse rates are stated to be app. 1/2 for males {resent research seems to show an equality}. Where then are the missing male MPD's? Besides the fact that males present slightly different, males are most often incarcerated for the same acts that will bring women into treatment. (Ross, Bliss and on and on!)

7 Each of the studies presented state that: the responses are in remarkable congruence with previous investigations on MPD/MMPI. Therefor the # 99 is not a true representation of the total sample involved. Also NOTE: The MMPI is NOT the only / excepted instrument for testing MPD.
All the articles refer to DES, DDIS, abuse history, etc. as better instruments for measuring dissociation.
