Since I was a young boy, I was facinated by the great ferries that I saw passing by almost every day at Ostend.
Every year I made, with my parents, the crossing between Belgium and England
aboard of one of the RMT-ships.
A few years ago I became a real ferry-enthusiast, I started taking pictures and tried to find all the possible information I could.

Ferries and the whole ferry-scene have always been a part of my life.
Different familymembers (father, grandfather, godfather, etc.) have worked there whole carreer at the 'mailboats'
Ostend-Dover.
Myself, I was four years active on board as a student in the summer, at the catering-service, namely 'Wagon-Lits'.
