Gionatha Spinesi scored twice as Bari came from behind to record their fifth draw of the season. Vicenza opened the scoring with Lamberto Zauli one minute after the break but Spinesi equalised on a 64th minute spot kick. Defender Marco Zanchi scored in the 86th minute, his third goal in two matches giving Vicenza the lead before Spinesi scored the equaliser for Bari with a fine header one minute from time. With the draw, Vicenza climb to 32 points, two above Reggina who are fourth from bottom. Bari remain bottom of the table on 20 points, mathematically still not relegated with four matches left.

Brescia moved one step closer to staying in Italy's top flight as they recorded their 12th draw of the season. Bologna earned a precious point in their efforts to grab a UEFA Cup spot. Lazio came from behind twice to record their 19th league win of the season. Napoli took the early lead with Nicola Amoruso after 24 minutes of play. Argentine Hernan Crespo equalised in the 32nd minute by rounding the Napoli goalkeeper and depositing the ball into an empty net. Napoli regained the lead one minute into the second half as Nicola Amoruso scored his second of the game. Crespo answered with a blast from inside the box for his 21st goal of the season in the 51st minute. Lazio's Juan Veron was sent off in the 57th minute but the visitors quickly regained control taking the lead with midfielder Pavel Nedved in the 65th minute. Fabrizio Ravanelli rounded out the scoring for Lazio one minute from time. With the win, Lazio remain in second on 62 points, five behind league leaders AS Roma, and one point above Juventus.

Reggina grabbed a precious win in their fight to avoid relegation. Midfielder Andrea Bernini gave the Calabrian side the lead in the 38th minute with his first Serie A goal, a right footed blast from thirty yards out. Bernini once again worked his magic as he struck a low angled shot into the back of the net in the 76th minute giving Reggina their eighth win of the season. With the win, Reggina climb to third from bottom on 29 points, one point above both Napoli and Verona. Bari are bottom of the table on 20 points. Parma, in their effort to grab the last remaining Champions League spot, remain fifth on 50 points, only three above AC Milan with four matches left.

League leaders AS Roma recorded their 20th win of the season. Striker Vincenzo Montella scored the game's only goal in the 63rd minute connecting with a Hidetoshi Nakata corner giving Roma their 10th home win of the year. With the win, Roma remain top of the table on 67 points, five above Lazio, and six above Juventus with four matches left.

Perugia jumped to an early lead as captain Marco Materazzi coverted a 20th-minute penalty for his 11th strike of the year. Korean Ahn Jung-Hwahn scored five minutes later and on the stroke of halftime added his second of the match for a 0-3 Perugia lead. Udinese fought back in the second half with two goals in two minutes from Roberto Sosa in the 55th and Roberto Muzzi in the 57th minute. Italy international Stefano Fiore capped the comeback with an injury-time penalty. Perugia climb to 40 points, while Udinese are on 34 points, seventh from bottom.
