Usagi believes that Motoki is Tuxedo Mask, and so despite Sailor V's warning to stay away from Tuxedo Mask, Usagi goes to an amusement park with Motoki. Rei and Makoto also come, as do two of Motoki's friends, one of whom is none other than Mamoru. Usagi gets separated from Motoki in a maze house, and meets up with Mamoru, who holds her hand so they can find the exit together. A monster attacks, and Usagi transforms into Sailor Moon, not realising that Mamoru can see her in the mirrors of the maze house. Outside, Sailor Moon and Sailor Jupiter take out the monster together. Jadeite appears and attacks them, but Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Moon, everyone gets their energy back. Sailor V appears and gives her warning again. Usagi realises that Motoki cannot be Tuxedo Mask because he does not have the same hand injury that Tuxedo Mask was given in battle (not to mention that the maze house made him sick, and he's been sitting outside it the whole time).

- It is revealed that Motoki's mother repairs Mamoru's tuxedo when it gets damaged in battle (Motoki believes that Mamoru has to wear the tuxedo because of a part time job)
- Usagi first shows signs of feelings towards Mamoru (as opposed to feelings towards Tuxedo Mask - as of yet, she still doesn't realise they're the same person)
- Mamoru discovers that Usagi is Sailor Moon
- Jadeite tells the Sailor Guardians that he is Jadeite, and that he serves Queen Beryl
- We are shown for the first time that Jadeite can attack by firing a bolt of energy at his enemies
- Sailor Moon wraps Tuxedo Mask's hand wound with her handkerchief, which means Mamoru now has the handkerchief
- Sailor V reveals that she has some knowledge of a destiny that cannot be changed, with regard to Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask
