Naru is Usagi's best friend. She does better in tests than Usagi, and manages to get to school on time, but she and Usagi seem to have a lot in common. Naru was caught up in one of the Dark Kingdom's attacks in the first episode, and if the anime is anything to go by, she'll continue to be the eternal victim throughout the series.

Naru's mother, Mayumi, is a famous jewellery designer.
