My Dad and I, and His new car (late 70s)

This is a page dedicated to my father. A wonderful comedic actor who stared in such productions as Wonderbug (1976), The Kentucky Fried Movie (1977), Love at first bite (1979), Friday Foster (1975), Tag: The Assassination game (1982) and numerous Adult films, The most memorable being New Wave Hookers . He also had small but memorable parts in Happy days as "Sticks" , Good Times, Voice over work in the "plasticman" series and a small part in M.A.S.H. I regret that I don't have many memories of my father but he remains a constant in my heart.�� The following are comments from a friend of his from the Adult entertainment industry who has a site dedicated to His adult carreer as "Jack Baker":
"He was an amazing man and an amazing actor. Not only in adult but in everything he did. I met him in 1990 and was immediately awestruck by him. I knew all about his career. He was impressed that someone would even care about him and the movies he had done. When I met him he was on a kind of downward spiral.� He was happy and that is the what you should remember, He would be happy that we are remembering him and that we are keeping his legacy alive. He passed away from Bladder Cancer 11/13/94 after putting off going to the hospital..I remeber we used to sing "Ebony and Ivory" together and songs by The Police..he loved them! The last time I saw him I was 13, it was my birthday. He borrowed some mismatched neon socks from me. I never saw him or my socks again. He lived hard, played hard and died hard. But he was a good man. ~This is for you Daddy, I love you with all my heart. You will always be a star to me! I'm so sorry that I couldn't be there for you.� ~Forever,� "Pookie"

I have found out that that he was Creamated and buried in a mass grave in The Los Angeles county cemetary. Since starting this site I have come to know his brothers his Mother and his Beautiful Nieces.. It has been wonderful to find the part of my family I never knew. His Brother Ted sadly passed away shortly after beating Cancer but not before I got to talk to him over the phone and get to see what funny person he was (I guess it runs in the family!) His Brother Tom is a dear addition to my family and is a magnificent writer (and cut up in his own right) I have gotten emails from old friends and family now for years and I'm very thankful to be able to get to know John through you all.
