My name is Jim. I am currently located in Santa Clara (about one hour from San Francisco) California, USA. I like it here but I hope that soon I can go and visit my birth place Taiwan. I also like visit Japan and Hong Kong at the same time.

I majored in Aviation maintenance at San Jose State University where I received an Airframe and Powerplant certificate that allows me to work on the engine and airframe of airplanes. I think I will work for an airline but I am not sure yet.

I also have a private pilot certificate. Private pilot certificate allows me to fly an airplane basically for fun. I recently received a muti-engine rating. The training was quite an experience. I learned a lot of new materials including twin engine aerodynamics and skills necessary to operate a twin engine aircraft during emergency. Training to fly a twin-engine airplane required a lot of hard work and money but I think it was worth it.

I went down to North Shore Salton Sea (about three hours east of L.A.) to get a Sea plane rating.

My dogs. The mustard colored one is a new immigrant. My brother brought her over from Taiwan last year. They are getting along pretty well. Not sure if they can communicate though.

This motorcycle is a two-stroke 250cc sports bike. It is a little special because this model is not imported into the U.S. The last owner import it personally. It's complete different animal from my last bike. A Honda CBR 600.

I went down to L.A. last year 1997 to the 510 Again Meet. There I saw the legendary #46 BRE 510.
