Thursday Morning Bird Ramble: A slow meander around the island to see and hear birds. Bring your binoculars. 8 am to 12 noon. Call (912)634-1322.

Coastal Georgia Audubon Society: The mission is to conserve our Georgia coastal area. Meetings are held the third Tuesday of a month, with special field trips throughout the year. The Coastal Audubon Society is a sponsor of Georgia’s Colonial Coast Birding & Nature Festival each year on Jekyll Island. Website: www.coastalgeorgiabirding.org.

Guided Nature Walks

Explore the beach, forest, marsh, or gardens. Meet your guide at the site at 9 a.m. Scheduled walks run March-October. No reservations needed. Other walks scheduled upon request.
