Six Days

JULY 2003 saw the publication of the book "SIX DAYS." The story of the making of the Chester Cathedral Creation window. Created by Rosalind Grimshaw and written by Painton Cowan.

Painton Cowan (The author of the acclaimed book "Rose Windows") uses many photographs, drawn diary entries by the artist and essays written by people close to the artist Rosalind Grimshaw and the project to trace the window from the first sketches to the installation of the completed work.

"Six Days" is published by Alastair Sawday Publishing and can be ordered directly from the publisher: www.littleearth.co.uk
The book can also be purchased from The Bristol Guild, located in Park St, Bristol.
