The Building of a Custom Home - A photo feature by EAGer Web Page Design

Welcome

Jessica and I decided on the floor plan below named the Peyton, built by Mercedes Homes. When walking through the Mercedes Homes Models, we were very surprised and excited with their features. They had everything that we wanted in our new home, except for the movie theater.  The biggest features that we like are that they round every corner in the house and all the entry-ways between every room are arched.  It looks very cool.  We picked out all the materials that will be going in the house in December 2001.  I have them listed in the Home Basics section below.  If you think that the house is kind've big for just us ( it's 2263 sq. ft., 2600 with the garage) we do too.. But, it's an investment and the size is better for resale than a smaller house.  Plus, we'll have a lot of fun filling it up.

UPDATE:  We closed on the house May 17th, 2002.  It is beautiful.  I know where I will be working every weekend now.
