It was on Sacorria that Lando Calrissian met Tendra Risant. He thought this might be the women of his dreams. Neither of them could foresee the dramatic events that were about to happen on the planet, and that these events would drag them both into a showdown in the Corellian system shake the foundations of the New Republic.
Sacorria was one of the many "Outlier" systems at the fringes of the Corellian sector. Sacorria was considered a backwater planet as were many other Outliner systems as they were dwarfed by the powerful and influential Corellian system. Sacorria has a single large moon called Sarcophagus, which serves as a vast grave yard for Scoria citizens. This moon is only visited by the mourners interring their dead.
Sacoriia is ruled of a Triad consisting of one human, one Selonian, and one Drall. The Triad was only a mouthpiece for the Corellian Diktat during Emperor Palpatine's rule. When Palpatine died power began to shift. The Diktat gradually lost his influence and the Triad consolidated their power secretly.
Agents for the Triad found the five ancient planetary repulsors and they also learned how to use the Centerpoint Station as a supernova-inducing weapon. Continuing to hide their authority, the Sacorrian Triad set in motion their plan to become rulers of an independent Corellian Empire.
When Chief of State Leia Organa Solo of the New Republic visited the Corellian system with her husband and kids and to attend a trade conference, the Triad backed rebellions began on all five planets. A massive jamming and interdiction field trapped the Solos in the system. The field covered all over the area and the Centerpoint Station began to blow up stars.
Meanwhile Luke Skywalker and Lando arrived on Sacorria , looking for a rich woman that Lando could marry. Tendra Risant filled this bill. Once they met Lando dropped the mercenary attitude as Tendra was very attractive, friendly, warm, and genuinely cared for Lando. Their budding friendship was cut short, when Triad officials kicked Luke and Lando off the Sacorria under a new set of restrictive xenophobic laws.
Lando left with Luke to investigate the unstable situation in the nearby Corellian system. Unwilling to lose Lando, Tendra left Sacorria in a cut-rate starship and tried to alert them to a Triad warfleet was assembling in her homeworld's orbit.
Tendra's vital warnings were intercepted by Lando and passed on to the Bakuran cuisers that made a hasty made up new Republic armada. As soon as the interdiction field was lowered both fleets engaged in battle. Despite many deaths the Triad's fleet was destroyed and Centerpoint Station was successfully disabled.
Lando and Tendra at last had time to spend together and enjoy each other's company. As talk turned to the possibility of marriage, they both promised to consider it very carefully.
