Rana Jawad Asghar, MD, MPH
I am working as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer ( Popularly  known as Disease Detectives) at CDC.
I graduated from Allama Iqbal Medical College, Pakistan and did my MCPS in family Medicine from College of Physicians and Surgeons, Karachi. I did postgraduate studies at the University of Bristol, UK and the University of Washington, USA. I also did a fellowship in emerging infectious diseases from UW.
I worked as a Research Associate at Stanford University and as a faculty member at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicne, UK. Before coming here I was managing a Child Survival Project in Mozambique.
